RealTracks replace the MIDI track for that instrument, and can be controlled just like the MIDI instrument (volume changes, muting etc.). Best of all, they follow the chord progression that you have entered, so that you hear an authentic audio accompaniment to your song. RealDrums are live audio drum styles that replace the MIDI drum track with actual recordings of top studio drummers! These are not "samples" of single drum hits; they are full recordings, lasting from 1 to 8 bars, playing along in perfect sync with the other tracks. They sound like a real drummer, because they are recordings of a real drummer. Adding a real instrument to the mix makes all of the Band-in-a-Box and PowerTracks MIDI parts sound more authentic. Both parts have an independent contrapuntal melody, so you feel like you have a real playing partner at your side. Each of the 5 genres, Classical, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Bebop and Rock includes 10 great contrapuntal melt Track, it's easy to see and hear what each part is playing. CopyMe is an exciting teaching concept for Band-in-a-Box. Here's how it works: your piano teacher, Miles Black, plays a 2-bar piano phrase along with a Band-in-a-Box accompaniment. That 2-bar piano phrase is then followed by 2 bars of the same Band-in-a-Box accompaniment with the piano part silent. This is where you come in... just copy what Miles has played. Once the lesson is complete, Miles explains and plays the next concept, followed again by your turn to play.
