This is an older one.... 2011 if I recall correctly. I was browsing my YouTube channel and happened upon this. Figured I'd dust it off. I was writing a lot of stuff with Pat Bishop at that time and this was one of those. Video was synced (poorly) after the fact. I like the guitar solo tone in this. It's all BB except for the guitars and parts of the piano. This was recorded when I was using Music Creator 4 from Cakewalk at my old house. That was a fun time. Enjoy
Hello I tried to tell a little story to make 4 singers from the synthesizers V sing in the same song. Any resemblance with existing or existing characters can only be coincidental. Complaints should be made to the Villa of Broken Hearts. Thanks for sharing your journey with upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It sounds like quite the adventure! I remember when I tackled a similar upgrade on an old laptop of mine. It's amazing how a little persistence and some helpful YouTube tutorials can make all the difference, right? Kudos to you for figuring it out and getting everything up and running smoothly!
Oh, and speaking of upgrades, if you ever decide to take the leap to Windows 11, I found a cheap Windows 11 Pro key that might come in handy for you! Just a little something to keep in your back pocket for future tech endeavors. Thanks again for sharing your experience! "
Querying with more than one variable can make interpretation of the results uncertain. I think I understand how Rob wants to help, yet I am unsure whether the more votes for option #2 are for more RealTracks, or for fixes instead of new features. That’s why I suggested keeping the number of new RealTracks the same. I’m sure they have a process, budget, and timetable for this labor-intensive work, and speeding it up may not be an option. So, what I would hope to learn from the poll is very simple. Do people here prefer emphasis for next year on 1) adding 50 new features Or 2) making 10 to 20 fixes [I vote #2, big time]
Dan. My advice to you, is to render the files to audio, then you can make sure they don’t get messed with when you drag them from program to program.
I am sorry to hear that. As I said, I thought I was close to getting this to work via the workflow I had described (i.e., moving the chord chart from EZK2 into BIAB and then moving the RTs out of BIAB to Reaper). Your suggestion to input Audio files into BIAB does not work for me. I know that from experience. I hope the OP (Paul) got the answer he was waiting for. The good news is I will be starting to work on the vocals for my 6/8 project in Reaper. Dan
Man, one of the guys I play with over the last 30 years is an outstanding harmoninca player. He can play chromatic notes on a diatonic harp. Sheesh. Anyway, he would dig that crazy solo. Very cool strolling feel in this tune. Man, you are quite good at creating those images too, and they go so well with the music. I like how you bring in the players as if it's alife performance. Terrific package, Chay.
Missed ya, deej. Man, right from the first downbeat I said, "Wow, strong bass sound." Then I read it was Ray. Oh, yeah!! You know, Deej, with a voice as good as yours you don't need motivation. Very engaging. Love this one, and hope to hear the not-so-good one soon, too. This is a wonderful production, and I love all of the voices you've built in there. Dang, that bass --excellent choice, and you brought it out perfectly in the mix. Gave it all a couple spins, and it's one of those great songs that keeps getting better. I kinda like the dirge-like drumming.
Yep, teach 'em to fish and they'll be fed their whole life. I like the double of don't be like a cave man, and don't cave in, man. Good write and a catchy chorus. Excellent lyrics with good advice. Well mixed. Well done, Dewey.
Good write, Fred. I like the low harmony. Excellent choice. A good soft sound unobstruced by ostentatious clamoring of ego-maniac musicians. Still, I miss them, but they have no place in this beautiful thought-provoking song. Well done.
Hi, Marty. Big guitar sound. Nice vocals. Bass does what a bass should. Piano fills occasionally. This reminds me of classic blues. Sure, there are lyrics that are well sung... but the song is just an excuse for the guitarist to solo. Fun listen.
Ha! Thanks, David. Yep, those are my favorite ones. My first gig was as a lead guitarist. The only reason I started playing bass is because guitarists need them.

Thanks, Ron. I remember pitcing songs in the 90s and producers would always say they want to be wowed in the first 10 seconds. Turns out the most important thing about gettng your song on an album was to be friends with the producer.

Thanks, Deej. Missed ya, brother.

Thank you, Mario. Ya konw, you're about equadistant from Dave and me, so maybe we should all pick a Sunday to visit with you and Bob.
On the heels of losing Richard Tandy, I just read that David Sanborn passed away Sunday from prostate cancer. He was 78. EVERY lick in my library came from him. I saw him on tour at least a dozen times. My favorite sax player by a larger margin. Seasons keep changing. People keep aging. Inevitability will win every time. RIP David.
I don't do that many covers but..... This is one I did many years ago. I'm on the vox and guitar with band in a box covering everything else
The photo: This was one of the bands I was in. We were booked at a fairly big club at "The Circle" in Atlantic Beach NC. I don't recall the name of the club but there were a number of clubs on the circle. I'm in the hat. Keyboard player behind me, the drummer was holding his pay for the previous night and the other guitar player is in the doorway. The bass player was maybe still in bed recovering from the previous night. The photo has zero connection to the song or the recording but it seemed to fit with the "young dudes" look. The booking included getting paid and 2 motel rooms for the night. The club was literally one minute away and the ocean and beach was about the same. More like a paid weekend getaway at the beach.
