That song has been tormenting me for decades.

I sat down once and made a point of figuring out where the bars actually were, then played the intro over and over, twisting the knob to BOOST the VOLUME on the beats. For a short while, I was able to hear it correctly from the first note, I was entrained, but then my brain reverted to the way I "learned" it, and I was back to hearing it wrong.

But I'm sure this was not intentional on the Beatles' part, I'm sure the ambiguity is just an artificial effect of editing out the audible count-in. I wish this guy had focused more on helping to hear it right, rather than make it seem as weird as possible.
This only goes to exemplify how talented they were, potentially even without them realizing.
