Hey there Chris, I've worked with David once before too - he's great to work with, and you made a good choice. At first I thought the nylon guitar could use a bit more reverb, but as the song progressed, I'm not so sure. You may have already played around with that.

I like the extended metaphor. Great opening line: "I've have two birds in my brain."
Sweet melody and instrumentation.
Kevin and Natalie sound so authentic. I'm impressed.

Great job, Christian! Nice melody and feel to match the topic. Something to consider...you have a very strong word in the first stanza which rhymes with your hook's main word (i.e., refrain to brain). My two cents is it would be more natural to the ear if you took the extra time wordsmithing to align them in lines 2 and 4.
