The Big Piano window is described on pages 268 and 269 of the 2024 Band-in-a-Box User Manual.
The Big Piano displays the notes of a track. One key limitation is the Big Piano only shows the notes for one track at a time; not for all the tracks at once. You select the track using the track drop down menu immediately to the left of the Help button. There is a red box surrounding it in my image.
The Pianos tab in the audio mixer will simultaneously display all the keys played on every track but does not display the note names.
Yes, that is correct. The Big Piano has been around a long time. The Audio Mixer Piano tab was added a few years ago when PG Music added tabs to the audio mixer. They both display the notes played on a track.
