Ooh Ya Ya A Jazzy Blues inspired by a visit to New Orleans and a hole in the wall restaurant where the dish of the day was a delicious spicy Andouille Sausage concoction called Ooh Ya Ya.
I posted this some years ago - this is a re-recording using all BIAB Real Tracks.

Nigel, you've really captured the sounds and spirit of the Big Easy. Love how you shouted out your encouragement of the band. So cool. Lived within walking distance of the French Quarter many years ago. Awesome place once you settle into it. Great song!
Hi Nigel.
This is superb!
An excellently written song, a first-class arrangement and a vocal performance that soars all worked their magic to take me on a fantastic musical excursion.
Musicianship shines everywhere.
You're a very talented man!
Loved it
--Noel
Hi Ron,
Thanks for your generous comments as always.
You are very lucky to have lived in New Orleans - one of my favourite places in the World.
Best Regards
Nigel
Excellent Nigel. You own this genre. Hope you got a chance to sit in with some of those fantastic New Orleans musos on your visit.
Jazz Blues and New Orleans. Oh, ya ya. You're speaking to me, brother. Great inviting song (literally). Man, I'm digging that baritone. The piano really interrprets this so well with a great feel. Your wonderful signature vocal always elevates each song you do. Love it all, Nigel.
Nigel, this sounds like a live band in a local New Orleans' bar.
Great vocal with very clever lyrics.
Super mix.
Hi Noel,
Thanks for all your generous comments - much appreciated.

Hi, Nigel.
Fun! You're vocals have attitude to spare, and it's a very enjoyable listen.
All top shelf, as usual.
Hi Izzy,

S-U-P-E-R-B!!!!! Love your sense of humor. What writing, what vocal control. Stratospheric standard - congratulations
Nigel...you killed it!...walking down the streets of New Orleans this would the kind and quality of music you'd expect to hear in the background drifting out from a local establishment!
Hi Nigel,
Fun jumps out of my speakers (almost). You are so good in reviving the old songs/melodies.
The sax seemed to play in my room! (now I need to shout Ya, Ya too, or so).
Your vocals are well suited for this kind of songs. Really great!
I'm not a very big van of jazz, but your songs are a pleasure to listen to. Really!
Hans
I've never been to New Orleans, but I think your song would fit the place well.
Well done.
Now I'm hungry

Nigel,
A good band. Well sung.
Could easily fit in a black-n-white "jazz movie" from the 40's or 50's

It's a very nice swinging Norleans Jazz sound that really captures the spirit of that place! The vocal sounds eerily close to a combination of Mickey Gilley and Jerry Lee Lewis (close relatives of each other)
A totally great production!
Thanks, TB

Nigel,
Cool old time jazz stomper! Liked it from start to finish. Great vocal (check), cool backing band (check), smoking sax (check), funky hip piano (check) . . . yeah, it's got all the right elements. Excellent!
