Klezmer style - Freilach or bulgar - 04/15/24 09:41 AM
Hey there,
I don't know if this is the right forum to post this, so sorry if I'm wrong here.
I'm looking for a certain Klezmer style. Bulgar or Freilach. This type of song is often played polka-like and I have enough stuff for this. But Freilach is also often played in a sort of hard-rumba manner, with accent on 1, 2+ and 4. Like here: youtube.com/watch?v=jLWNqLXAcKo , a quite modern form of this type of comping, to be heard from minute 01:29 (the beginning is a hora).
Has anybody a style apt for this? Maybe something is fitting that belongs to other sort of music. Maybe I already have one and just don't know it .
So, I would be thankful for any hint.
Have a nice day,
S.
