In the notation window, the last page of more than two invariably has big errors. There is something wrong. I use the latest build (842 of Biab 2021 on win 10) The first file (Children of Harlem) shows the page as it appears for a split second, before going over to the second file: ChildrenofharlemBAD. On this page you see how the notation is scrambled, with a dotted line over the middle of the page (vertically). And rendering the reading impossible, cause it's just wrong.
I have already returned to factory settings multiple times. It's not me. It's the software,

I wanted to add the file of the tune, but you can't upload mgu-files.
Well, as a matter of fact. It happens with every tune that takes more than one two notation pages.

Hi Dzjang, looking at your second screenshot it looks like you have another window open that's partially covering your LeadSheet window. Try going to the Task Manager and quit everything. Then re-open Band-in-a-Box and only open the Leadsheet, do not open the Style Picker or other windows first. When you play your song, do you then still get this white box?
Closing any other application doesn’t seem to remove this problem. Same thing happens when you allow notation to fill the whole screen, which isn’t convenient by the way.
Thing is that biab splits the display on that page in two parts. It does that normally (or at least in earlier versions, like 2018) at the very last two bars so that it already displays the start of the song on the left side. And that’s ok. But now it just seems to linger on the whole last “page” of three.
The first screen appears only briefly when the song goes to the last page, then switches to the second “split” screen.
When I want the melody to show (not just the chord chart) I use version 2018. And have been since a long time. None of the updates seem to have addressed this.
There are so many issues, like with the stylemaker or the conductor, with notation, musicxml, transposing parts that don’t transpose, the list is really long and support takes long and seems to lose intrest along the way.
Thx for replying, nonetheless. Only happens when there are more than two “pages” of notation.

Here are some song files where it invariably happens I had to rename it to a pdf file, but it's a zip file and contains two tunes. Since you cannot upload mgu or zipfiles....

Hi Dzjang, please email your song to support@pgmusic.com for testing.
Also, if you would like to connect with more community members in the forums, the Band-in-a-Box for Windows forum sees more traffic than the FAQ forums.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
