OP musocity Veteran Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,570	Set Items in .di data file to MIXFLAG 1 Set Items in .di data file to FADEIN FADEOUT, stretch markers and stretch marker fade to 0 Keep .di files but name ".RTrackTemplate" for drag import from folder or BB VST you should be able to drag Bass - 1011 Bass, Electric, BritInvasion Ev 120.RTrackTemplate from a SavedTracks folder into a BB VST track and if the midi is an "RC" Bass - 1011 Bass, Electric, BritInvasion Ev 120_RC.mid it should be able to be dragged into the same track. Maybe it could automatically import the RC by same name also. This will work good also in other DAWs when the BB VST is made to play direct allowing saved tracks to be imported/swapped. OP musocity Veteran Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,570	If BBW4 writes the files wav instructions data files to the SavedTracks folder then we have to wait for the programming to be done it BBW4 as all the fixes pertain to that. The way I see it BBW4 creates those files along with .mid in the SavedTracks folder then the PLUGIN deletes the .di files after reading them in, these can be left there and be created with a new extension from .di to .RTrackTemplate to enable them to be dropped into Reaper directly or the PLUGIN track for other DAWs. https://stash.reaper.fm/u/ReaTrak (Scripts for Biab Reaper) Open SGU in Reaper Instantly

OP musocity Veteran Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 2,570	I think forget about these "fixes" you should not have to wait 6 months, we can do without as many of us have given up on it for so long because of the issues, just focus on fixing the main issue once and for all so you don't have this dragging out year after year as it has been. Just bite the bullet and delete BBW4, do it the right way with a self-contained code allowing for things to be fixed or feature easily added, on "any platform" without all this continuous waiting n waiting. This will filter out all the old hard coded issues and limitations in Biab that have prevented it being compatible with all other DAW's and notation apps. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
