Yesterday I made up a song that utilized a 200% tempo.
Today when I opened it up to resume work it had reset itself to 100%.
I fixed it, and listened to a few measures before deciding I was going to work on something else instead.
The next song I opened started playing at 200% tempo.
Is this behavior a result of something I'm doing or not doing? It's pretty much impossible to forget to save things, if you do forget and go to exit or open another song I get a pop up.
I usually save song projects in their own folders, especially if I am going to be adding tracks from Reaper. But last night I was just buzzing through a bunch of stuff and made up three or four songs in a general folder.

I haven’t seen this one.
Wild guess: do you have BIAB set on boot up to load the previous song, load the previous style (my guess), or do nothing?

Yes-
At program bootup: "open Previous style" is selected
also Bootup in directory of last session is checked.
I'll try messing around with those, the dropdown also has "open previous song" and "Don't open song or style".

Just by the way, as it might be useful here, there are some BIAB 'timebase' options to allow half-time, double-time and triple-time. The manual has details.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
